Wind Demons are immortal creatures ruled by a King. They are charged with handling the winds.
Unlike the evil Black Demons that fought with the Awgwas, the wind demons participated in the decision to bestow immortality upon Santa Claus. They clearly seem to be included among the benign types of immortals. (The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus)
