I think it's a mistake to say that various revisionist and aftercomer books "reveal" things about the character. These things are canon only within the work of the particular aftercomer-author,not Baumian Oz.Best to say they are interpretations or theories rather than discoveries!--Louis E./ 06:14, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

Pale Pink Dragon

If it's not my imagination, there must have a play named The Pale Pink Dragon, which also had melting witches.  It's a shame there is no movie adaptation, or Wikipedia reference.Jeff Meredith (talk) 01:40, June 1, 2016 (UTC)

Character Categories

I saw in a recent edit someone removed the categories Characters and Oz Movie Characters and added the category Winkie Country. I can understand adding Winkie Country, but shouldn't this stay in the other two categories? I know she was originally in the book, but she was in the movie too and in other adaptations and is a character. I think I'll just add them back in, but I'm curious what you all think.

Oops, never mind. From the changes summary, it looked like they were removed, but they were still there when I went to edit.

Does the Wicked Witch of the West have any names other than the ones currently listed on her Wikipedia page? --NetSpiker (talk) 12:04, January 5, 2017 (UTC)
