Scalawagons

The Scalawagons were apparently the Land of Oz's experiment with Personal Rapid Transit. They were well-cushioned, had eyes on their roofs (under a cap), and could obey all traffic rules (so long as someone "knocked some sense into them"), as well as serve food to the passengers. The Wizard invented them, and they ran on Flabbergas. (The Scalawagons of Oz)
