The Rubber Country is an area of land near the Nome Kingdom.
Everything is a dull gray color and the path through it is soft and springy and the rocks and trees in it are made of rubber. A brook of dry water marks its border, and the rubber stepping stones that cross it, are wired to a control in the Nome King's throne room that allow Kaliko to bounce away anyone who steps upon them.
