Ozzy was a Flying Monkey working for Eviline, the Wicked Witch of the West in the film Guardians of Oz. He's the son of Goliath, a great Monkey warrior, but he's small, weak, and his wings aren't yet developed enough to fly without help. He often wears a balloon to float.
Unlike the rest of his species, he never agreed to follow Eviline's orders.
History[]
Goliath came up with a plan to steal back Eviline's broom, which contained her powers. They waited till the Guardians of Oz (the Tin Man, Scarecrow, and Lion) fell asleep, then Ozzy, being the smallest, snuck in and tried to take the broom. Unfortunately the plan backfired and Ozzy was caught. The monkeys all stormed in and still managed to get the broom, but the Witch wanted to punish Ozzy for his failure. Goliath stepped in, taking responsibility, so the Witch punished him instead, turning him into a chicken.
Ozzy got the broom and escaped, hoping to save his father. He flew across Oz, looking for help. ("Guardians of Oz")
