Journey Back to Oz is the soundtrack album to the animated film of the same name, which is loosely based on The Marvelous Land of Oz, and stars Liza Minnelli as the voice of Dorothy Gale. Though recorded in 1964, it was not released until 1980. The animated film to which it is the soundtrack appeared in 1974. A second edition of the soundtrack was also released in 1980, confusingly under the title The Return to Oz.
