Jaglon and the Tiger Fairies is an expanded version of L. Frank Baum's "The Story of Jaglon," one of the Animal Fairy Tales that were first published in 1905.

The expansion was the work of Jack Snow; it was illustrated by Dale Ulrey and published by Reilly & Lee, in 1953. The publisher intended this work as the first in a series, in which all of the Animal Fairy Tales would be expanded into new, stand-alone editions. Their first endeavor in this regard, however, was not a commercial success; and no more expanded versions of the animal tales appeared.
