Hugson's Ranch

Hugson's Ranch is a ranch owned by Bill Hugson. It is located in California and the nearest railroad stop is called Hugson's Siding.

When Dorothy Gale and her Uncle Henry returned to the U.S. from a visit to Australia, Henry went to Hugson's Ranch while Dorothy stayed with friends in San Francisco for a week. Zeb Hugson, who was Bill's nephew and worked at the ranch, went to collect Dorothy from the railroad siding, but was lost in an earthquake. Zeb and his horse, Jim, later reappeared safe and sound at Hugson's Ranch while Dorothy somehow arrived safetly in Kansas. (Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz)
