Frank Kramer (1905 – 1993) was the artist who illustrated Jack Snow's Oz books, The Magical Mimics in Oz and The Shaggy Man of Oz.

Kramer left a career as an insurance accountant to pursue one in illustration; he did numerous illustrations for pulp magazines in various genres including science fiction and fantasy, which probably led to Snow’s selecting him to illustrate his stories. Most of his later work was for non-fantasy juvenile books, particularly sports series for boys

He is an obscure figure; apart from a brief note in Jack Snow's Who's Who in Oz (which misstated his year of birth as 1909), virtually nothing about him had been published until Atticus Gannaway's articles in the Spring 2011 Baum Bugle.
