Gary Briggle (1953- ) is an American actor and composer who portrayed the role of the Scarecrow in The Marvelous Land of Oz . He began his career in the Minnesota Opera Company. Mr. Briggle has been in many plays such as The Wind in the Willows and Alice in Wonderland.
