The Black Demons of Patalonia are evil creatures with great spreading wings, like a bat. They sweep terror and misery through the world as they beat upon the air.

The Black Demons joined the Awgwas in an epic battle against Ak the Master Woodsman and his army of immortals. The forces of good were able to defeat the evil races, destroying most of them. (The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus)
